Haven’t you grown?

If you’ve visited the office recently, or given us a ring, you’ll have noticed a lot of new people. We’re growing and have taken on lots of new clients, so we’ve recruited some brilliant new team members so we can continue to give great service.

Here’s a brief intro to the new team members.

Louise brings lots of experience to the team, meaning that she can answer all those hard tax questions. She’ll be running the accounts team and will be the main contact for many of our new clients.

Louise qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she first met Jon and Mike. She worked in Audit and Forensic Accounting, investigating frauds and insurance claims. She has 14 years’ experience in the financial sector, including 12 years at RSA insurance where she worked in a variety of finance roles. She joined MJF Accountancy in September this year to support Mike and Jon in providing quality service to our clients.

Not a lot of people know:
Louise is an expert in Rotten Romans and Groovy Greeks, having a degree in Classics from Oxford. We’ve just got to stop her using roman numerals when she’s preparing accounts.

Rachael is our new Office Supervisor, replacing Serena who is now a full-time accountant with MJF.

Rachael will be the lovely smiley face that you will see when you first walk into MJF. Whether you’re coming into the office for a meeting or to just drop some records off, she will be here to welcome you, make you feel at home, and to help with anything you may need.

Rachael will also be the warm and bubbly voice you will hear when calling the office, whether this is your first time calling us, perhaps to ask a question or to book your first meeting or you are a current client needing support, Rachael will be here to help with your every need. Rachael is over the moon to be a part of the MJF team and is very excited for her future with us.

Rachael joined MJF in November this year after working as a receptionist & administrator for Kapak Foods Ltd, a food packaging and manufacturing company in St.Helens.

Not a lot of people know:
Rachael featured as the lead role in the 2011 John Lewis Commercial, ‘Through the Ages’, where she played a 1960s-themed café girl.

April joined MJF as an Accountancy Apprentice after working as a receptionist at Browns Medical.

She is currently studying accountancy and helps support the accounts duties here in the office. April loves the experience she has gained here so far and we are thrilled to have her with us. She is very determined to succeed and make a great life for her and her 5 year old daughter and is very excited for what’s in store for her future.

Not a lot of people know:
April is a country girl at heart and loves to spend her weekends exploring the flora and fauna with her daughter Nevaeh.

Jordan joined MJF as an Accountancy Apprentice this year after working in the construction industry. He soon realised this wasn’t the career path for him and was very excited about the idea of accountancy which brought him to join us here at MJF.

Jordan is a fantastic member of the team and helps support us with any account duties. Whilst doing this and studying for his qualification he has realised accountancy is where his passion lies and is very excited for a hardworking but rewarding career path.

Not a lot of people know:
Jordan has a huge passion for music festivals and loves to travel around Europe with his friends. He has just recently visited Amsterdam to see his favourite DJ, Tiesto, at Amsterdam Music Festival.

Of course, there’s no escaping the tried and trusty team members, but we thought it would be helpful to introduce you to the new guys.
