Would you like to be the new Admin Assistant for a fast-growing Liverpool Accountant?

We’re recruiting for an Apprentice Problem Solver. Please take a look at the job description and, if you’re interested, follow the instructions below.

Location: Liverpool, L18
Hours of work: Full-time
Salary Range: £12,000 – £15,000 per annum depending on experience

Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting an Admin Assistant for a fast-growing accountancy firm in south Liverpool. We’re looking for an Apprentice Problem Solver – someone who wants to make our lives easier by fixing all of those admin problems that crop up.

Are you someone who will enthusiastically take on any task, no matter how big or small, and do everything you can to get it right? And do you pay attention to even the smallest of details? Are you already smart but want to learn and develop? If this sounds like you, this role will be just what you’re looking for.

You’ll be working in a small firm of accountants, but you’ll be a vital part of our growth. We’ve doubled in size in the past two years, and intend to do so again in the next two, so there’s a brilliant opportunity for your role to develop.

You’ll be supporting the accountancy team and making our clients feel special when they ring or visit us. You’ll even make them feel special when you’re chasing them for information.

You’ll be someone who is:

  • super organised and able to prioritise
  • IT literate and able to use Microsoft Word and Excel to a good standard
  • friendly in person and on the phone
  • able to type without misteaks!

We want someone who never thinks that “it’s not my job to do that”. Office experience and having worked in a professional firm are really useful, but they’re not as important as attitude and enthusiasm to learn. We’re not trying to be the same as other accountancy firms, so we want someone who’s willing to try new things….and get them right first time.

We want someone who loves a challenge and just can’t leave a task until it’s done.

In return, we’ll do everything we can to give you interesting tasks that will make your days fly by. We’ll also develop you personally and professionally, and offer opportunities to progress – we’re growing and we want you to have the chance to grow with us.

When we meet you, you’ll have plenty of stories to tell us to prove why you’re the right person for the job.

To start with, please don’t just send us your CV. Please also send a covering letter that will make us want to get in touch with you to learn more.

Please email this to [email protected] by 9am on Thursday 2 October.
